  3. March - Youth Art Show, 2013
    The March All Youth Art Show is sponsored by Allied Arts Association and C.U.S.D.
    The show is for al Central Coast Youth Artists Grades K-12. One entry per student.

  4. April - JURIED Show -
    Jurior is Sally Tippman, a well known Central Coast and nationally honored artist.
    This exhibit is open to all artists; members and non-members.

  5. May - Petals and Palettes (with Garden Club)
    Flower arrangements paired with works of art. Special Saturday Reception for Artist in show (free) & Guest ($3 donation)

Special Event: January- 2014
Cambria's Annual Art & Wine Festival

  • Festival Poster Art Competition: The Cambria Chamber of Commerce & The Allied Arts Association Announce 2014 Twelfth Annual Cambria Art & Wine Festival Poster Art Competition:
    • Contest is open to all San Luis Obispo county artists. Your entry must be original, two dimensional and one of a kind.
    • Limit two entries per artist. (one form per entry). All entries must be delivered to the Chamber Office by 5 p.m., Monday - September 16, 2013.
    • The winner receives: a $300 cash prize, a bottle of wine, 2 wine glasses, and 2 V.I.P. Package Event tickets, (includes Kick Off Party V.I.P. reserved seating $200 value) and 50% of the proceeds from the sale of your entry in the Silent Auction to be held during the event). The winner will also be featured at the event and throughout event advertisements. Winner will be asked to sign event posters at the Kick Off Party on Friday, January 24, 2014.

  • Festival Date: January 24 25 & 26, 2014  
  • BE PART OF IT, YOU CAN DO ANY OR ALL NOTED BELOW!:
    • Place a piece in the Art Show/Silent Auction. If sold, 50% of sale price comes to you. If not sold, you reclaim the piece.
    • Demonstrate at a local business and display/sell your work. Requires the donation of a raffle prize to the event.  Which can be an original, a reproduction or anything valued at $35 or more.
    • Be part of the "Artist's Faire" on Sunday. Sell your work and demonstrate among wineries pouring samples.  Requires two entries into the Art Show/Silent Auction as described above. Space is limited and assigned to first registered.
  • It would be most helpful if you would register online ASAP, certainly before January 3rd deadline, even if you haven't yet chosen your entries. Titles, etc. may be added later.

Special Event: July - 2013
Prefix 927 (Non Traditional) Art Exhibition

  • The 25th Annual 927 Show continues to be a unique opportunity for artists to show off the non-traditional, zany side of their creativity
  • Eligibility: 927/924/934/935/203 Prefix or Allied Arts Membership
  • Exhibition Date: Weekend of July 13, 2013 @Cambria Veterans' Hall, 1000 Main Street, Cambria, CA
  • PLEASE NOTE: It is required that the Entry Forms be received by July 3rd
  • Take-in: Friday, July 12, 11 AM - 2 PM @Cambria Veterans' Hall
  • Pickup: Sunday, July 14, 3 - 4:30 PM @Cambria Veterans' Hall
  • Regular Exhibit Hours:
    • Saturday, July 13, 10 AM to 2 PM and after the *party, 5 PM to 7 PM
    • Sunday, July 14, 10 AM to 3 PM
    • $3 donation for admission to support Allied Arts Association art scholarships
  • *Special reception and party!: Saturday, July 13, 2 to 5 PM
    • Libations. The Mud Skippers Band and a Silent Auction!
    • $15 donation includes admission to the show, silent auction, raffle, live music, a glass of wine, nibbles and awards ceremony conducted by Art Van Rhyn.
    • Displaying artists are admitted free to the Special Reception but must purchase their own beverage tickets
  • Artist Awards Ceremony: 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 13 ($100, $75, $50 show awards plus merchant awards)
