Artists of Cambria

Growing up on a small farm in the midwest gave me a respect and love for all living things both plants and animals and being somewhat isolated I started at a very early age to draw and paint what I saw around me.

After leaving a career in the medical field I was able to explore the world of art. trying oils and acrylics and finally discovering my favorite medium, watercolor. I love the spontaneity of colors blending uniquely on the paper. The inability to completely control the paint is to me half the fun.

I am a member of Cambria Allied Arts, Cayucos Art Association, Morro Bay Art Association and San Luis Obispo Art Center, participating in many shows including Color of Autumn and Aquarius. I also show in Friends Gallery on Arlington, Cambria. I am a signature member of the Central Coast Watercolor Society.
