Workshops and classes are open to Allied Arts members and non-members alike.

Suzette will be giving a free art workshop for the Historical Museum (Bianchini House) on making Scarecrow Heads with paper mache` on Wednesday July 14 at 10-12. This is to help prepare for the upcoming community Scarecrow display along Main St. on October 9th. Allied Arts members should be thinking about some Scarecrows for the front of the gallery. Hint! Member Announcement: Joan Scott
Joan Scott will be the featured artist at the Paso Robles City Library, Spring and 11th Streets, for the month of September. Her show, "Abstract and Otherwise",* includes mixed media, acrylic and pastel paintings, and can be viewed during normal library hours Mondays through Saturdays. There will be an Artist's Reception* on Thursday, *September 9, from 4 to 6 PM* in the meeting room adjacent to the Children's section.

Doug Stenhouse is a plein-aire artist who paints and exhibits his watercolors at various venues about the East and West coast. Doug invites you to a demo and talk about his work at the SLO Art Museum at *7 PM on September 28* for the Central Coast Watercolor Society. In addition, he is having a solo exhibit of 33 paintings at the ArtSpace in Herndon, VA (703-956-6590), in September with an opening reception Sat. evening on Sept. 4th.
