Workshops and classes are held at the Cambria Center for the Arts, and they are open to Allied Arts members and non-members alike.  Groups or individual wishing to hold workshops/classes, and/or rent rooms  Facility Use Policy & Application Form

OIL & ACRYLIC PAINTING - No instructor
Meets Mondays 9-12
Cambria Center for the Arts, Room #12
$25 for current session, which runs through the end of Feb
Fee depends upon number of participants

Meets Mondays 9-12. Resumes Mon., Jan. 16th, 2012
Cambria Center for the Arts, Mauve room
$10 each time for model fee and room
Bring your own equipment and media of choice
Additional participation needed for this workshop
to continue to be offered.

Member Announcement: David Child Exhibit
David Child will be displaying his watercolor and acrylic paintings at Castoro Cellars Winery, 1315 North Bethel Road, Templeton, CA from Dec. 1st to Dec. 31st, 2011. A reception will be hosted by the winery, Sat., Dec. 3rd, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served.
 
Member Announcement: Gary Gall - New Member Offers Cermanics Workshop
Gary is considering April for the first class and encourages interested people to visit his studio. The workshop would be three hours each week for six weeks.
Gary’s studio is equipped with four wheels, a slab roller, work tables, kilns and more.

Gary will be available in March to show you his studio at 6380 Buckley Dr., if you contact him in advance.
 
Member Announcement: Sandi Heller     
Sandi Heller presents Open Spaces--Our wonderful West, a collection of pastel paintings depicting landscapes from Utah to California.   February 1 to 29, Paso Robles Library,1000 Spring St 237-3870. M-F 10am to 8pm Sat 10am to 5pm Closed Sunday.  
Sandi has three art shows lined up for the coming year, including the "January Blues" exhibit at our Gallery.

Member Announcement: Bobbye West-Thompson, Linda Dunn, Robin Wayne and Flo Bartell Exhibit
Allied Arts members, Bobbye West-Thompson, Linda Dunn and Robin Wayne are showing work at Edward Jones Investments, 1236 Los Osos Valley Rd, Los Osos (behind Starbuck's) Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 PM.
The show runs till March 23, 2012. An Artist's Reception will be Saturday, February 11, 1:00-4:00 PM.
 
Member Announcement: 2012 Holiday Home Classic Tour
Doreen Minick reports that the 2011 Holiday Home Tour has been cancelled. However, plans are in the works for a December 2012 Home Tour fund raiser.

You are Invited...SLOMA Art Lecture on Feb. 12th
SLOMA ART LECTURE: The Paper is a Painting Sunday, February 12th, 1 - 3 p.m. $10 Members, $15 Non-Members.
Susan Olsen presents a demonstration of a rare technique of paper making.
She will discuss the process from growing and harvesting source plants to creating and mounting beautiful art pieces.

Feb. 12th San Pedro Art Association is having their 1st exhibit of the year, titled, " Love of Art " in San Pedro, CA
- Noon to 6 p.m. with "Paint Your heART" cookies for kids,
- Silent Auction & Raffle 5 - 6 p.m. Artists, Come down and set up your easels anytime.
